I agree--entirely--about good quality blogging establishing someone as the &quot;expert.&quot;  Even mediocre blogging helps to establish a web presence.

I&#039;m not going to pretend that I understand how the Google Ghosts evaluate the &quot;importance&quot; of websites, but blogging does seem to be highly respected by Google.

I don&#039;t know how important it is to the much less used Yahoo and Bing.

I think the toughest part is selecting a niche and having your blog stick to that specific niche.  It makes sense that you&#039;d want to litter your entries with targeted keyword phrases.

Of course, selecting the keywords phrases can be quite a bear.</description>
